For many years, the work of moral philosopher Oliver O’Donovan has encouraged Christians to recognize the folly and futility of maintaining a wall of separation between theology and thinking about politics. Ken Myers will summarize how critical (if neglected) insights in O’Donovan’s writing can help Christians account for various political confusions of our day.

Before working with National Public Radio, Ken Myers earned his B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland. He recognized how unprepared most Christians (including himself) were to engage with the increasingly dominant non-Christian worldviews in major cultural institutions.

After completing a Master of Arts in Religion at Westminster Theological Seminary and discovering no institutions focused on the kind of cultural apologetics he believed the church required, he founded Mars Hill Audio in 1992. Since then, he has interviewed hundreds of leading scholars and public intellectuals in their areas of cultural expertise.

Myers lives in the picturesque countryside of central Virginia, north of Charlottesville, with his wife, Kate. They have two grown children, Susannah and Jonathan, and four grandchildren.
